The beloved Mr. Peanut has seemingly and sadly passed away. I know it’s nuts, but he went out a hero and we’ll never forget that. He really took one for the team in this cliffhanger ad, and he was never salty about it.
Why Planters would ever let this happen is beyond me, but what’s certain is that they’re shelling out the big bucks for a Super Bowl ad that will hopefully bring closure to all of us.
