There are big things happening with IGTV. Instagram is visibly encouraging its use, so it makes sense to learn all there is to know. Here we go:
Video Content Requirements straight from Instagram itself!
- Videos must be at least 1-min long and up to 15-mins if uploaded via mobile or 60-mins if uploaded by the web.
- Content must be in MP4 file format.
- Upload vertical videos with an aspect ratio of 9:16.
- Alternatively, upload horizontal videos with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
- The minimum frame rate for videos should be 30 Frames per Second, and a minimum resolution of 720 pixels.
- Videos 10-minutes or less should be a file-size of 650MB max while videos up to 60-minutes are 3.6GB.
- All video content for IGTV must follow these Community Guidelines.
