Speaking of engaging videos, Delta’s newest ad really caught our attention. But, it’s not so much the content of this ad that stood out to us, it’s the camerawork.
The ad kicks off with a guy stepping out of a taxi. Once he’s out of the car, the camera starts zooming in on the road he was just on. You’ll immediately think of an airplane speeding down a runway. But as the camera continuously zooms in, it switches scenes from the road, to a long table, to a dock, plus a number of other things that resemble runways. With each scene switch, the zooming of the camera accelerates.
While the camera is perpetually zooming, the narrator delivers a simple message, “The old saying, ‘Good things come to those who wait’ is just that—old, Those good things, you have to get out there and chase them…Good things come to those who go.”
That’s a message we are fully here for.
