Monday: Search Engine Journal gave us 6 ways to engage your organic search traffic on social media. They are:

Tuesday: SEMrush talked about how to effectively combine SEO and content marketing to achieve results.  Be sure to design your content with search engines in mind, keep up with continual content, and evaluate the value of your links.

Wednesday: Hootsuite gave some advice on how to create highly watchable silent videos for social media. Their tips included:

  • Add closed captioning
  • Don’t rely on music for meaning
  • Show, don’t tell
  • Use sound intentionally
  • Remember the 3-second rule

Thursday: Convince & Convert covered how to write perfect page titles and headlines and provided 7 tools to make it happen. They told us how to find the best keyword for your titles, create a question-based title, analyze your title, preview Facebook and Twitter snippets, and more.

Frozen Sangria Slush

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 ounces brandy
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 cup ice

Steps

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender EXCEPT ice and puree until slushy. If you need it to be more slushy, add ice.
