Anything but Free Delivery: 10 Ideas for Christmas Emails

Whether people are helping out Santa or just treatin’ themselves, the holiday season is a wonderful time to be a retailer or marketer. 🎁
Offering free shipping is always a great way to turn potential buyers into customers, but there are soooo many other strategies to reel people into what you’re selling.
Need some email-campaign inspo? SendPulse has some tricks in their bag. They’re basically Chris Kringle himself. 🎅
1) The Early Bird Catches the Sale
Whether or not that’s how the saying actually goes, launching your campaign as early as possible pays off. Big time.
Topshop offers a 50% off sale in November to get people thinking about their Christmas gifts, and at half off. The “exclusive” label makes people more likely to act on the sale because they’re doing it a lot earlier than their competition. (Cough cough, something to keep in mind for next year’s campaign…)
2) And On the 12th Day Of Christmas…
Why not go all-out and have a themed holiday campaign? For a period of 12 days, have a different offer or product on sale for 24 hours. The sense of urgency and exclusiveness will have people jumpin’ at each offer.
Clinique ran a gift marathon called “12 Days of Treats” where each purchase came with a different gift combination every day. 💄
Oh there’s no place like… email marketing to really sell your business… for the holidays. 🎄 In other words, get all of the A+ holiday inspo before Christmas comes and goes.
The Process: Aviation Gin

Ryan Reynolds just dropped a commercial to explain how Aviation Gin is humbly brought into this world. It’s pure genius with a dash of serenity and a pinch of that classic Ryan Reynolds tone we all love so very much.
If you’re going to watch anything today watch this.
Ads from the Past

This one dropped in 1939, and while it seems innocent enough, we just can’t get over the name “Junket”. Doesn’t seem great for a food brand.
