Your Support Inbox Has Content Ideas

Looking for your next content idea? Your customer support team might already have a list.

Every repeated question, confusing feature, or misunderstood policy reveals something customers are struggling to understand. Those conversations can become useful FAQ content, help articles, and answers that support your AEO strategy.

But copying support tickets into a blog post won’t do much good. The information needs to be accurate, accessible, and genuinely helpful.

Here’s how to turn support questions into better content:

  • Find recurring questions. Review support tickets, help-center searches, and customer conversations to identify common points of confusion.
  • Look for the actual problem. A question about exporting data could involve permissions, pricing plans, or a technical issue. Each needs a different answer.
  • Prioritize by impact. Focus on questions that block purchases, onboarding, or important tasks, not just the ones asked most often.
  • Choose the right format. Simple questions may belong in an existing FAQ, while complicated workflows deserve a dedicated guide.
  • Give complete answers. Include who the information applies to, relevant steps, exceptions, and what to do if something goes wrong.
  • Keep answers accessible and current. Publish approved information on crawlable pages, remove private customer details, and update instructions when policies or products change.

And remember: if customers keep reporting a broken feature, a beautifully written FAQ won’t fix it.

Good AEO content starts with understanding what people need to know. Your support inbox can tell you where to look.

Tools

Clearbit

A name and an email address don’t always tell you much about a lead.

Clearbit enriches contact and company records with B2B data like company size, industry, revenue, location, and technologies used. That gives marketing and sales teams more context to qualify prospects, personalize outreach, and focus on the right accounts.

Less guessing who’s behind the form submission, more useful information to work with.

Feel It Forever

What if all the movie characters you’ve ever loved followed you around in real life?

In Vue’s ā€œFeel It Forever,ā€ directed by Taika Waititi, people walk through the world accompanied by characters from the films they’ve seen. Kids have just a few; lifelong moviegoers have a whole crowd trailing behind them.

When two people go on a cinema date, they leave with a few new additions to their own imaginary entourages. It’s a fun visual for how the films we watch stick with us long after the credits roll.
