Tuesday: TikTok has had an outstanding 2021 for entertainment and advertising. The platform isn’t going anywhere any time soon, and is a trendsetter among its user base for retail, audio, and pop culture. TikTok gave a recap of the biggest trends and creators of 2021, so check it out to see which ones you saw and which ones you may have missed.
Wednesday: Scientitst say none of us are getting enough downtime, or not doing downtime right, and it’s increasing our burnout. Fast Company explained the importance of downtime to increase creativity and productivity, basically shutting your brain down for a while so you can let it think freely. And when we asked you guys if you think you give yourself enough downtime, 75% of you said “nope!”
Thursday: Recaps and trend predictions are on the rise this month since 2021 is quickly coming to an end. AdWeek broke down their 4 trend predictions for social advertising. The big trends included more complex shopping journeys, a stress on creative strategy, open dialogue on data privacy, and a boost in automation.

Irish Coffee Egg Nog
Ingredients
- 2 cups prepared eggnog
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/3 cup Irish Cream liqueur
- 1/4 cup brandy
- ground nutmeg, for sprinkling on top
Steps
- Pour the eggnog into a small pitcher or large measuring cup.
- Stir the sugar into the coffee until dissolved.
- Then pour into the eggnog to combine. Stir in the Irish Cream and brandy.
- Pour into individual serving cups and sprinkle with nutmeg.
