What We Learned

Monday: Don’t be that guy who doesn’t know the difference between landing pages and websites. In short, a website is general to brand awareness and for building trust, while landing pages are stand-alone pages used that move along a customer journey. PageFly’s article breaks it down further and even gives different types of LPs.

Tuesday: Since the 1960s there’s been an easy marketing formula called the 4 Ps. Coursera breaks down how to use 4 Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, + Promotion) and even elaborates on modern mixes like the 5 Ps, 7Ps, and 5 Cs.

Wednesday: Pages, digital products, and data systems can end up useless if they aren’t well organized or user-friendly. One of the biggest starts to a strong user interface and user experience design is the information architecture (IA). Slickplan wrote an article about 4 new IA trends happening in 2022.

Thursday: Optimize Your Marketing Funnel 2022 is coming up! It is a free digital event brought to you by 9 digital marketing experts. Across two days of informative sessions, it will cover everything from social media marketing, content marketing, CRM, email marketing, SEO, and influencer marketing.

What is the word “Wi-Fi” short for?

Often people think it means “Wireless Fidelity,” but the term “Wi-Fi” was actually just a catchy name made up by a branding firm. It was made to be more user-friendly term for wireless internet using the “IEEE 802.11b direct sequence.”
